Corsican Places charters new flight service to Calvi

Tour operator Corsican Places announced the launch of the UK’s only flight service to Calvi Airport today with Titan Airways. Operating from Stansted Airport, the flights will allow shorter transfer times to Calvi and the north west of Corsica, including easy access to the popular resort of St Florent. Flights will depart on Sunday mornings from May 16 to September 26 2010 on a Boeing 737-300 aircraft. Corsican Places commercial manager Paul Kenny said: “We are delighted to operate the UK’s only Calvi flight with the prestigious charter airline Titan Airways, whose high quality product matches our customer requirements which include comfortable flying and favourable flight times. Having a flight service into Calvi will benefit them immensely, with just a 10 minute drive from the airport to the picturesque port, as well a short distance from the best of La Balagne.”
