Eurostars Hotels joins with Check Safety First
3/10/2010 1:55:00 PM
Eurostars Hotels and Check Safety First announced that the E-Cristal auditing system will be used throughout the chain’s hotels.
The risk management system will protect guests further from hygiene, health and safety hazards. Eurostars has placed importance on food safety across its 52 hotels, which will now be randomly audited monthly by Check Safety First inspectors. It is hoped the checks will minimise risks of food poisoning.
Mark Harrington, CEO at Check Safety First, said: “The E-Cristal system will mean that standards are met across the board, ensuring that the reputation of the chain is not compromised.”
A spokesperson from the chain said: “Food hygiene standards have been historically difficult to monitor with our hotels spanning across twelve countries. The E-Cristal system will provide each establishment with a unified approach to tackling the issue, while also providing us with a chain-wide view of their progress or problems.”
